Within a compact footprint of just 16 square meters, the centre ingeniously utilizes space to offer a multifunctional experience. Its sleek and modular design seamlessly integrates with the surrounding landscape. Boasting observatory installations, the centre serves as a symbol to the garden surrounding it.
rough architectural spatial experimentation of a small observatory placed in the heart of the City in James Starley Gardens. The project required techniques for exploring the city, inhabitation of space and the relationship of the body to architectural elements- portrayed through hand sketching.
THE ART OF DWELLING
experiment with how humans interact with their inner selves within a safe space. in a sense, the idea of security within their abode.
the sketches on the first row which depicts the idea of humans and their structures as one. the ropes integrated the two to make them intertwined as a whole. supported with the sketches under, it is shown that the simple strokes represent the innocence and vulnerability that humans would showcase in a guarded inhabitation.
